Youth Programs

NDN has funding available annually to sponsor youth in Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge Townships towards three Youth Naturalist Programs
Goal:

North Durham Nature (NDN) is a non-profit organization that supports a variety of activities promoting the natural heritage in Brock, Scugog, and Uxbridge Townships. This school year, as part of our mandate, we have funds available to support nature-based educational programs for several individual youth of north Durham.

Eligible Programs:

NDN has identified three key programs to which we are hoping to send interested youth between the ages of 13 to 18 who reside in north Durham. Please see the following page for links and further details.

  1. Ontario Field Ornithologists: Young Birders Camp (Deadline March 23, 2026)
  2. Birds Canada: Young Ornithologist Workshop (Deadline April 30, 2026)
  3. Ontario Nature: Youth Summit (Deadline August 2025 or until capacity reached)
Application Procedure:

Note: Parents/Guardians apply on behalf of youth under age 18.
